Laskaar is an authentic artist with a unique blend of influences. Though of Swiss origin, he has strong roots in Granada and currently divides his time between Zurich and Madrid. This rich mix of cultures is reflected in his music, which traverses genres such as soul, contemporary R&B, trap, house, drum and bass, and electronica. His tracks are characterized by their hypnotic and ethereal sound, complemented by Laskaar's captivating vocals.

After releasing two EPs and several singles in English, Laskaar gained international recognition through conceptual and artistic projects, including impressive music videos featuring model Shaun Ross and his friend/muse Soraya Cuentosrosales. He has also built a solid reputation performing live in cities like Zurich, Los Angeles, Berlin, Marrakech, New York, and now Madrid. Since his first concert in 2018 at Cha Cha Club in Madrid, Laskaar has had a special relationship with this city—a city that captivated him but also challenged him. His very first visit inspired him to start singing in Spanish, marking a turning point in his artistic journey.

Recently, Laskaar reconnected with his Spanish heritage by recording "Traición," his first song in Spanish. This track was included in i-D Spain magazine's list of the ten best songs of the year, alongside artists like Rosalía and Bad Gyal. It has garnered attention from various blogs and magazines, including The Fader, Clash, Noisey, and Metal Magazine, as well as prominent playlists like Spotify's Billboard Pride. He has also participated in interviews with Betevé and Primavera Sounds Radio and performed at Club Razzmatazz and the Eufonic Festival.

Laskaar collaborated with brands like Nike, Grindr, OCB Paper Sessions and Swisscom.

Often referred to by the press as the "Spanish Drake," Laskaar has drawn comparisons to artists like Rosalía, Kaytranada, FKA Twigs, and Nathy Peluso. Since his musical debut, he has demonstrated a distinct artistic vision, solidifying his status as one of the most promising talents in the national music scene.

His new track "Me <3 En Madrid" is the first single of his upcoming album, which planned to be released by the end of 2025.
